Dan Rosenthal has over 25 years of experience in financial and operational roles. Dan began their career in 1987 as a Senior Product Engineer at National Semiconductor, where they were responsible for product line profitability for over $20M in sales and developed over $2M in savings through cost reduction projects. In 1993, they joined Mercer Management Consulting (now Oliver Wyman) as a Vice President/Managing Director, developing over $3M in new business annually and managing 10-20 staff on multiple projects. From 2000-2004, they were a Principal at MMC Capital and a Managing Director at StrongLight Advisors. In 2005, they Co-Founded and became Chief Financial Officer of Fonality, Inc., a $50M cloud computing communications software company. At Fonality, they managed a team of 35 staff, raised over $50M in five rounds of venture capital, negotiated and closed two corporate acquisitions, and developed strategic plans. Most recently, in 2017, they became CFO of HONK Technologies, a nationwide roadside assistance platform with a network of over 55,000 service vehicles.
Dan Rosenthal attended The Wharton School from 1991 to 1993, where they earned an MBA with a major in Strategic and Entrepreneurial Management. Dan also attended Carnegie Mellon University from 1983 to 1987, where they earned a BS with a double major in Electrical Engineering and Business.
