Cheryl Berger

Cheryl Berger currently serves as a member of the Oregon Educators Benefit Board since February 2024, following a gubernatorial appointment. Cheryl has also held the position of Human Resources Director at Hood River County since August 2018, where responsibilities include managing multiple HR priorities and providing expertise in Employee Relations, Training, Recruitment, Benefits, and Labor Relations. Prior experience includes a tenure as Senior HR Business Partner at Insitu, Inc., where Cheryl focused on organizational consulting, employee development, and policy implementation. Cheryl has also worked as an instructor at Columbia Gorge Community College and held various roles in HR and administrative capacities across different organizations, including Flathead County Justice Court and the State of Oregon. Cheryl holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from Willamette University and a BS in Management from The University of Montana.
