Hans Slotboom

Hans Slotboom is an experienced professional in civil engineering and water management, currently serving as the founder and senior specialist at HS-Dijken since August 2013. For the Hoogheemraadschap De Stichtse Rijnlanden, Hans is engaged as a Technical Manager since February 2023, previously holding a similar role from October 2018 to December 2020 and substituting for a colleague in 2021. As an advisor for Waterschap Limburg since January 2021, Hans has contributed to key dike reinforcement projects. With a military background as a Functional Specialist in Civil Infrastructure for Koninklijke Landmacht, Hans also has a teaching role at Wateropleidingen, where lessons on safety and cost calculations are delivered. Additional experience includes a technical manager position with the Municipality of Utrecht, and advisory roles with Rijkswaterstaat and Waterschap Hollandse Delta. Hans Slotboom holds a degree in Weg- en Waterbouwkunde from Saxion University and is pursuing a Propedeuse in Dutch Law at Open Universiteit.
