Roland Bauer

Roland Bauer's work experience includes a role as VP and Head of Global Quality, Qualified Person at HOOKIPA Pharma Inc. where they are responsible for the quality in a clinical-stage company. Roland has also worked at Sanochemia Pharmazeutika as Head of Quality Control, Qualified Person, where they improved productivity and quality by transforming the quality control department. Prior to that, they held various roles at MSD, including Associate Director Quality and Qualified Person. Additionally, they have experience working at Boehringer Ingelheim as a Product Coordinator and Lab Analyst in Quality Control. Roland also has research experience as a Research Associate at the University of Vienna.

Roland Bauer completed a post-graduate course in Pharmaceutical Quality Management at the University of Vienna in 2012-2013. Prior to that, from 1993 to 2000, they obtained a degree of Mag. rer. nat. (MSc) in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the University of Vienna. Roland started their educational journey at the Engineer College, studying Biochemistry and Genetics from 1988 to 1993.
