Eman Abo Alya

Eman Abo Alya is an experienced data science and analytics professional currently serving as a Data Science and Analytics Solutions Analyst at the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) since January 2021. Previous roles include Business Analyst at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), where Eman utilized tools such as Power BI and R to provide data extracts and technical support, and various academic positions at the University of Toronto, including Teaching Assistant and Statistical Consultant. Eman's experience also encompasses a Statistician Internship at Princess Margaret Hospital, where risk score models for cancer patients were developed, and data science roles at DDB and BMO Financial Group focused on financial analytics.
