Sumit Kuri

Sumit Kuri is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in corporate credit and portfolio management. Currently serving as a Portfolio Manager at HOOPP since April 2022, Sumit specializes in Long/Short Corporate Credit, Investment Grade (IG), High Yield (HY), Leveraged Loans, and Derivatives. Prior to this role, Sumit was an Associate Portfolio Manager at OPTrust, where a benchmark high yield/leveraged loan Corporate Credit strategy was successfully launched and managed. Experience also includes serving as a Research Analyst at Millennium and as Vice President at Goldman Sachs, covering various corporate credit and equity strategies. Sumit began a career in Corporate Finance at Reliance Capital, focusing on capital raising and loan restructuring. Academically, Sumit holds a PGDM in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering from IIT Varanasi.
