Yu (York) Yang, CFA, FRM has a diverse educational background. Yu (York) obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Ivey Business School at Western University in 2007. During their time at the Ivey Business School, they focused on Dr. George Athanassakos' Value Investing classes.
Prior to their MBA, Yu Yang earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Nankai University in 1994. Yu (York) also holds another Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same institution, which they completed in 1994 as well.
In addition to their educational achievements, Yu Yang has acquired two significant certifications. Yu (York) became a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) through the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) in 2011. In 2010, they also obtained the esteemed Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute.
