William D. Kaufman

William D. Kaufman has a diverse work experience in various industries. William D. began their career as an Infantryman in the US Army from 1998 to 2001. William D. then worked as the Public Health Preparedness Coordinator at Vigo County, Indiana from 2004 to 2006. In 2006, they joined Hoosier Energy and held various roles within the organization. William D. started as an Environmental Specialist from 2006 to 2008, followed by a position as a Project Coordinator from 2008 to 2011. From 2011 to 2015, they served as the Manager of Alternative Energy Operations, overseeing the construction and operations of alternative energy facilities. William D. then became the Fuels Manager from 2015 to 2020, responsible for procuring and transporting fuels and other bulk materials for power plant operations. Most recently, they held the position of Senior Manager - Power Production from 2018 to 2020. In this role, they led teams and developed strategies for the fuels and bulk commodities program, corporate fleet program, and natural gas and renewable generation operations program. William D. is currently the Vice President of Technical Services at Hoosier Energy.

William D. Kaufman completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science with a specialization in Chemistry and Industrial Hygiene at Indiana State University. William D. attended Indiana State University from 2001 to 2004. William D. then pursued further education by completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Indiana Wesleyan University, which they attended from 2007 to 2008. In addition to their academic qualifications, William obtained certification as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in June 2015.
