Erich Ko

Erich Ko has a long and varied work experience. Starting in 2010, they worked as a Book Keeper/Office Assistant for The Consulting Co. Ltd. Erich then worked as a Legislative Usher and Team Lead and an Information & Education Officer for the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 2012 to 2018. During this time, they also worked as a Summer Student Assistant for the Ontario Ministry of Finance in 2018. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher and Special Projects Assistant at Ryerson University's Law Practice Program. In 2018, they joined the 2019 Cohort of NEXT Canada and became a Co-Founder & CEO of Hop In Technologies in the same year. In 2020, they served as a Startup Advisor for UNDP Cambodia and in 2021 they became a Member of Athlete Technology Group and a Fractional C-Suite and Advisor for LatAm Startups, as well as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at YSpace, York University.

Erich Ko has completed courses from HubSpot Academy and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm.) from the Ted Rogers School of Management - Toronto Metropolitan University, where they studied Law & Business.
