Sean la Marr

Sean La Marr is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in public affairs and media relations. Currently serving as a Public Affairs Officer and Mass Communications Specialist in the U.S. Navy Reserve since November 2015, Sean has developed Navy-wide messages and built strong relationships with media outlets. As the Head of Strategic Communications at Hope For The Warriors® since June 2022, responsibilities include overseeing strategic communication initiatives. Prior roles include Communications and Marketing Supervisor at NAES Corporation, where strategic internal and external communications were crafted in alignment with corporate values, and Communications and Tasting Room Manager at Cougar Crest Estate Winery, focusing on effective media and public relations strategies. In addition, Sean has contributed to veteran services through AmeriCorps and served as a course instructor at the University of Washington Bothell, facilitating the transition for student veterans. Sean holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media & Communications from the University of Washington and various certificates from the Defense Information School.
