Kate Dougherty

Kate Dougherty is a highly experienced professional in the healthcare field with a diverse background in hospice care, nursing education, and business development. Currently serving as the Intake Admissions Manager at Hope Hospice in Dublin, CA since September 2011, Kate also works as an NCLEX Instructor for Kaplan, preparing prospective candidates for nursing exams. Since 2004, Kate has been a consultant for DoughertyConsult, focusing on raising awareness for the Brentwood Surgery Center in Contra Costa East County. Previous roles include Admission Nurse at VITAS Innovative Hospice, where Kate promoted patient dignity at the end of life and held leadership positions in the San Francisco Bay Area Hospice Palliative Care Nurses Association.
