Myriam Szejer

Myriam Szejer is a highly experienced pédopsychiatre and psychanalyste associated with Hôpital Foch since January 2012, working under Professor Ayoubi in the maternity unit. Myriam has extensive experience in private practice since 1979, providing psychotherapies and psychoanalyses for various age groups and specializing in perinatal care. As the founder and president of LA CAUSE DES BEBES since 1995, Myriam promotes interdisciplinary approaches to enhance the relationship with newborns. In academia, Myriam has been instrumental in developing university degrees focused on psychological aspects surrounding birth at institutions such as Université de Paris and Université Hassan II de Casablanca. Myriam also leads a series of published works on these subjects, serving as an author and collection director across multiple publishing houses. Additionally, Myriam has facilitated partnerships in pedagogy at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski and was previously involved with Hôpital Antoine BécLére. Myriam holds a medical degree from Université Paris Cité and has training in music and dance from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse.
