Joseph Schwab

Joseph Schwab is a highly experienced medical professional currently serving as a Senior Physician at hospital fribourgeois (HFR) and a Faculty Lecturer at Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg, both since August 2022. Prior to this, Joseph held the position of Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin from August 2012 to June 2022, specializing in various hip conditions, including adult hip dysplasia, femoroacetabular impingement, and complex hip deformities. Joseph also served as Vice Chair of Community Orthopaedics and Director of Clinical Innovation at Froedtert Health from May 2017 to May 2022, along with experience as a Fellow in Hip Reconstruction at Inselspital Bern and an Orthopaedic Surgery Resident Physician at Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals. Joseph earned a Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Wisconsin and a Bachelor of Arts in Computing and Information Systems from Northwestern University.
