Giuseppe Maggiore

Giuseppe Maggiore has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Giuseppe is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Hoppinger Group since September 2020. Prior to that, they co-founded Hoppinger Business Solutions in July 2020. In 2019, they were a co-owner at Vidda Digital. From 2016, they worked at Hoppinger as a CTO, where they were responsible for the architecture and design of web applications and websites, building web applications and websites, and researching new tools, technologies, and languages. Giuseppe also served as the CTO and owner at GrandeOmega in 2016. Before that, they were a senior lecturer and later a hoofddocent at Hogeschool Rotterdam, where they played a significant role in architecting the broader structure of the degree and leading teams of teachers in the development and refreshing of innovative materials. Prior to that, they worked as a game developer at VS Team, taking on roles such as lead developer, technical director, and game designer. Giuseppe also worked as a lecturer at NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences from 2012 to 2014. Their career began in 2009 as a Ph.D. student at Università Ca' Foscari di Venezia, where they studied the development of programming languages for making video games and conducted research on game development programming languages. Giuseppe also had a role as a consultant and Microsoft Student Partner at Microsoft, where they conducted marketing and technical talks on .Net technologies and Windows Phone 7. Overall, Giuseppe Maggiore has extensive experience in technology, programming languages, web development, and teaching.

Giuseppe Maggiore obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from Università Ca' Foscari Venezia in the period from 2005 to 2010. Subsequently, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science at the same university from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, they obtained the certification of Microsoft Flow Essential Training from LinkedIn in September 2019.
