Amy Archer, J.D., CPCU, CLU has extensive experience in the insurance industry. Amy served as the Senior Vice President at Horace Mann, overseeing strategic and tactical functions for property & casualty claim functions and customer care operations. As the Vice President at the same company, they led all property and casualty claims functions countrywide. Prior to Horace Mann, they worked at State Farm for over 20 years, holding various leadership roles including Property/Casualty Claims Manager, Leadership Development Associate, Claims Section Manager, Claim Team Manager, and Litigation Specialist. Additionally, Amy has served as a Board Member for the Maryland Joint Insurance Association and the District of Columbia Property Insurance Facility.
Amy Archer, J.D., CPCU, CLU has a Juris Doctorate degree in Law from Campbell University, Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. Amy also holds a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Educational Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology, both from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Furthermore, they have obtained several certifications including being an active licensed member of the North Carolina State Bar, an Associate in Claims (AIC) from The Institutes, and both a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) from The American College of Financial Services and The Institutes CPCU Society respectively.
