Laura Knowles

Laura Knowles is a Senior Analyst at Intertek, responsible for ensuring quality results in batch release and method validation according to GXP standards. Currently working as a Scientist at ARTIOS PHARMA LIMITED, Laura leads the culture and maintenance of cell cultures for DNA damage response projects. Previous roles include Cell Line Engineering Scientist at Horizon Discovery, where Laura managed CRISPR-Cas9 edited mammalian cell lines, and Mammalian Cell Culture Scientist at Cobra Biologics, leading investigations on compromised cell batches. Experience also includes quality control at Fresenius Kabi and laboratory technician duties at Avantor. Laura's foundational skills were developed through an internship in haematology research at Chulalongkorn University and early employment as a barista at Caffè Nero. Laura holds a Master's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Liverpool.
