Sherry Weldy

Sherry Weldy is an experienced career coach currently at Horizon Education Alliance since July 2014, assisting adults in obtaining high school equivalency diplomas and preparing for employment in the modern workplace. Prior to this, Weldy served in various roles at Bethel College, including Director of Career Development, where significant initiatives such as a large-scale career fair and collaboration with the IT department to enhance the website were implemented. As Career Development Coordinator and Career Services Specialist, Weldy coordinated internship processes and provided career guidance through presentations and resume editing. Earlier positions included Executive Assistant at Trinity Evangelical Free Church and Adjunct Director of Theatre at Bethel College, alongside an early role as Engineering Library Assistant at the University of Notre Dame. Weldy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Bethel College.
