Jim Sweeney

Jim Sweeney has a strong background in healthcare operations and administration. Jim started their career at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey in 1992 and held the position of Director of Operations & Administration until 1999. Following this, they worked as the Vice President of Operations & Administration at Horizon Healthcare of New York from 1999 to 2008. In 2009, Jim joined The TriZetto Group as the Director of Fraud, Waste & Abuse Operations until 2013. Jim then went on to serve as the Vice President of Operations at Affinity Health Plan from 2014 to 2016, and later at VNSNY CHOICE Health Plans from 2016 to 2018. Their most recent role was as the Vice President of Claim Operations at Clearlink Partners from 2018 to 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Enterprise Medical Cost Programs & DVO at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey since 2023.

Jim Sweeney's education history begins in 1980 when they graduated from St. Joseph Regional High School with a High School Diploma, focusing on College Preparatory studies. Jim then went on to attend St. John's University from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
