Ildiko Pikali

Ildiko Pikali has a diverse work experience in the field of life enrichment programming for senior living communities. Ildiko currently holds the position of Director of Life Enrichment at Horizon House (CCRC) since January 2022.

Prior to their current role, Ildiko served as a Lifestyle Director at Fred Lind Manor under Transforming Age from July 2020 to September 2021. Ildiko was responsible for developing and managing life enrichment programs for 85 assisted living residents and overseeing the annual department budget.

Before that, Ildiko worked at Parkshore from March 2017 to July 2020. Initially, they served as a Lifestyle/Activity Coordinator, responsible for organizing activities for residents. Later, they assumed the role of Health Services Lifestyle Manager and Volunteer Coordinator, leading comprehensive life enrichment programming for 60 assisted living and health center residents. Ildiko collaborated with healthcare professionals to implement a functional healthcare delivery system and supported Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Grants.

In their professional journey, Ildiko also worked as an Activities Assistant at Horizon House (CCRC) from March 2016 to February 2017, where they coordinated life enrichment activities for Memory Care and Assisted Living areas, focusing on individual and group needs of residents using Comfort Matters approach.

Starting their career, Ildiko worked at The Kenney as an Activities Program Assistant from September 2014 to March 2016, and prior to that, they served as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) from October 2010 to September 2014.

Overall, Ildiko Pikali has extensive experience in developing and managing life enrichment programs for seniors in various senior living communities, showcasing their expertise in enhancing the quality of life for residents.

Ildiko Pikali holds various certifications and degrees related to their education. Ildiko is an Activity Director Certified by the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals. Ildiko also obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work with a focus on Community Organization and Advocacy from the University of Pécs. Additionally, they have a Bachelor's degree from the University of Pécs Faculty of Business and Economics, specializing in HR and Adult Education.

Furthermore, Ildiko Pikali has obtained several additional certifications throughout their career. Ildiko received a Leadership certification from LeadingAge Washington in June 2023. Ildiko also obtained the Teepa Snow PAC Champion certification from Teepa Snow's Positive Approach to Dementia Care in April 2023. In August 2021, they completed a course on "Using Microsoft Teams and Outlook Together: Maximizing Productivity" offered by LinkedIn.
