Scott MacKenzie

Scott Mackenzie is an experienced commercial leader in the leisure and fitness industry, currently serving as the Commercial Director at Horizon Leisure Centres since October 2022, overseeing all commercial and operational strategies while leading a diverse team. Prior to this role, Scott held multiple general management positions at David Lloyd Leisure from February 2016 to October 2022, managing sites in Heston, Poole, and Ringwood. Scott's extensive background includes a significant tenure at Fitness First UK from June 2006 to February 2016, where responsibilities ranged from UK Group Exercise Manager to Regional Member Experience Manager, ensuring high-quality service and product strategies across numerous clubs. Scott holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Sports and Exercise from the University of Dundee and completed Scottish Higher Grades at Crieff High School.
