Dale Johnston

Dale Johnston is an experienced Port Engineer with a career spanning over three decades in the maritime industry. Currently, Dale serves as a Port Engineer for Matson Navigation Company, a position held since June 2015, overseeing engineering operations for Alaska Division containerships. Prior to this role, Dale worked at Horizon Lines, LLC, from 2000 to present, managing engineering operations for D7 containerships in the Alaska Division. Earlier experience includes various engineering roles at Sea-Land Services, Inc., from 1989 to 2000, contributing expertise in vessel engineering and new construction guarantee engineering. Dale Johnston holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering with a Nuclear Minor from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.
