Erin Acker

Erin Acker has a strong background in media buying and management. Erin started their career at HRP as a Sales Assistant from April 2005 to July 2007. Erin then joined Horizon Media as an Assistant Media Buyer from July 2007 to January 2010. Erin continued to grow their skills and expertise at Horizon Next, taking on roles such as Associate Media Buyer-Direct Response from January 2010 to June 2010, and Media Buyer-Direct Response from June 2010 to September 2011. Erin then became a Senior Media Buyer from October 2011 to December 2013, and later progressed to be a Broadcast Media Supervisor from December 2013 to December 2015. Erin's responsibilities included negotiating and stewarding buys across multiple networks, analyzing and optimizing campaigns, supervising and training junior buyers, and staying up-to-date with industry trends. Erin then worked as an Associate Media Director from December 2015 to April 2018, Director of Video Investment from April 2018 to July 2021, and currently serves as the VP, Director of Video Investment at Horizon Next, where they manage a team of 10+ and handles accounts across various markets.

Erin Acker attended the College of Staten Island from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Market and Advertising. Erin later enrolled at Parsons; The New School for Design from 2007 to 2009, earning an Associates degree in Graphic Design.
