Bill Bignell

Bill Bignell is an experienced professional in asset management and engineering, currently serving as the Assets and Works Framework Manager at Horizon Power since January 2009. Responsibilities include the development and refinement of asset management strategies across various sectors, including Fleet, SCADA, IT, Generation, and Distribution. Prior to this role, Bill worked at Western Power from 1988 to 2008, first as System Capacity Manager, leading a team to create asset plans and budgets for long-term load growth, and previously as Protection Planning Engineer, focusing on the design and commissioning of protection schemes. Bill holds a Master of Engineering in Management and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Power Engineering, both from Curtin University.
