Christine Corbett Moran

Christine (Chris) Corbett Moran is an accomplished engineering manager with extensive experience in applied machine learning and space exploration. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Horizon3.ai, Chris previously held significant roles at Planet, including Senior Engineering Manager for both Applied Machine Learning and the Pelican Data Pipeline. At NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Chris contributed as Deputy Manager for NASA's Exoplanet Exploration Program, and led operations for the Mars Perseverance Rover Engineering Cameras. Chris's academic background includes positions as a Guest Researcher at Caltech, NSF Astronomy and Astrophysics Postdoctoral Fellow, and a Postdoctoral Scholar in Numerical Relativity. Additionally, Chris has experience working at the University of Chicago on the South Pole Telescope.
