Katina Papson-Rigby

Katina Papson-Rigby serves as a Board Member at Horizons at San Francisco Friends School since September 2023 and has held the position of Director of Service Learning at Urban School of San Francisco since August 2019. As the Owner of a Freelance Video Production and Photography business since 2000, Katina has extensive experience in the arts and education sectors. Previous roles include serving as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for People of Color in Independent Schools, Director of Community and Inclusion at St. Matthew's Episcopal Day School, and Community Based Learning Specialist at Children's Day School. Katina has contributed to curriculum development focused on social justice and serves as an active member of various diversity and inclusion committees. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Computer Design and Photography, an MFA in Media Arts from California College of the Arts, and Massachusetts Teacher Certification in Pre K-12 Arts Education.
