Roberto R.

Roberto R. has a strong background in information technology and management. Roberto currently holds the position of Director of IT at Horseshoe Bay Resort, where they oversee the technology operations of the resort and leads the IT team. Prior to this role, Roberto worked as a System Engineer at LEFCON, where they managed both wired and wireless networks and completed a network system refresh. Before that, they served as an IT Manager at RRB Energy, where they led the computer engineering efforts for an oil and gas startup and worked on establishing vendor relationships. Roberto also has experience as an IT Manager at Deep Gulf Energy, where they implemented an AI antivirus solution and guided the adoption of a cloud content management solution. Roberto started their career as a Computer Support Specialist at Computex, Inc., where they streamlined software installation and upgrades and deployed computer images based on customer specifications.

Roberto R. began their education history in 1998 at Southwesten College in San Diego, CA, where they studied as a Computer Support Specialist until 2000. In 2017, they attended the VMware IT Academy for a specific program on VMware Horizon 7 Install, Configure, and Manage.

In 2018, Roberto pursued several certifications. Roberto completed the GIAC GISF Certification Program at SANS Technology Institute. Roberto also received the Cylance Security Professional certification from Cylance Education. Additionally, they participated in the Box Certification Program, obtaining the Box Certified Professional certification in Cloud Content Management.

Throughout their education and certifications, Roberto has obtained various additional certifications as well. These include the GIAC Information Security Fundamentals (GISF) certification from GIAC Certifications in February 2019, the Box Certified Professional (BCP) certification from Box in August 2018, and the Cylance Security Professional certification from Cylance Inc. in July 2018. Roberto also holds the Microsoft Specialist: Windows 7 Configuring certification from Microsoft, obtained in December 2015, the Server+ certification from CompTIA in October 2010, and the A+ Certified Professional certification from CompTIA in December 2002. Furthermore, Roberto has an Emergency Procedures Safety Program certification in High Rise Buildings Evacuation obtained from the City of Houston in April 2017.
