Nicholas Cohen

Nicholas Cohen is a seasoned environmental planner with extensive experience in conducting environmental reviews under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and supporting sustainability initiatives for various public sector clients. Currently serving as a Senior Environmental Planner at Horsley Witten Group, Inc., Nicholas previously held positions at VHB, WSP USA, and the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation, where significant contributions included assessments for stormwater green infrastructure and greenhouse gas emissions reduction initiatives. Nicholas also has a background in overseeing water resource protection efforts at the New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission and coordinating environmental justice projects with the Tri-City Community Action Program. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Spanish from Bowdoin College.
