James Colongo

James Colongo has a diverse work experience in various industries. James is currently serving as the Director of Employer Strategy & Partnerships at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Prior to this, they worked at WTW as an Associate Director in Health & Benefits, where they served from November 2019 to April 2023. James also worked at Conner Strong & Buckelew as a Business Development Executive from May 2018 to October 2019. Before that, they held the position of Vice President of Employee Benefits at Wells Fargo and USI Insurance from December 2014 to April 2018. James also has experience in the insurance industry, having worked as a Life Brokerage Manager/Financial Representative at Guardian Life from 2012 to 2014, and as a Group Sales Representative at Prudential Financial from 2010 to 2012 and Unum from 2007 to 2009. James began their career at PHH Mortgage Corp. as a Senior Sales Consultant from June 1998 to January 2007.

James Colongo attended Towson University from 1993 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. In addition, they have a certification in Health, Life, Accident, Property & Casualty from the NJ Department of Banking and Insurance.
