Michelle Salyer

Michelle Salyer has extensive experience in healthcare network strategy, contract negotiation, and value-based arrangements. Michelle currently serves as the Vice President of Payer Strategy and Contracting at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Before that, they were the Vice President of Healthcare Network Strategy at CDPHP, where they were responsible for negotiating and developing network strategies for various healthcare providers. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Managed Care and System Contracting at Trinity Health and held multiple roles at EmblemHealth, including Senior Director of Hospital and Risk Based Contracting, Director of Hospital Contracting and Network Management, Director of Operations/Customer Service and Adjustments, and Manager of Hospital and Ancillary Contracting. Throughout their career, Michelle has demonstrated expertise in managing budgets, analyzing cost and utilization data, and developing strategies for cost containment and network development.

Michelle Salyer holds a Master's degree in Health Communication from Boston University and a Bachelor's Degree in General Studies from Columbia College.
