Lia Hanson

Lia Hanson serves as Senior Corporate Counsel at Hospital Sisters Health System, where since November 2014, legal support and advice have been provided to leadership and constituents across a 15-hospital network, with a focus on risk management and healthcare operations. Prior to this role, Lia was a Partner at Stuart & Branigin LLP from 2013 to 2014, specializing in healthcare and litigation, and represented hospitals and medical providers in medical malpractice defense. Lia began their legal career as an Associate Attorney at the same firm from 2006 to 2013 and worked as an Assistant Accountant at Moore & Van Allen, PLLC from 2000 to 2003. Lia holds a Doctor of Law degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from Illinois Wesleyan University.
