Barry Maher

Barry Maher has over 13 years of work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Barry is currently the Head of Engineering - API at Hostelworld Group, where they lead the modernization of the company's API layer. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal Product Owner at Axway, responsible for delivering an API Gateway and Management solution. Barry also served as a Technical Product Owner and Solution Architect at eSpatial, where they played a crucial role in delivering digital mapping products to the Irish Department of Agriculture. Additionally, Barry worked as a Software Developer at Capita IB Solutions earlier in their career. Barry has a strong background in Agile methodologies and has demonstrated expertise in product management, solution architecture, and team management.

Barry Maher earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Software Engineering from Dublin City University in 2007.
