Gary Megson

Gary Megson has a vast and varied work experience in the technology and consulting sectors. Gary started their career as a Project Leader at BF&M from 1989 to 1993. Gary then worked as a Systems Analyst at Deloitte and Touche (CMD Systems) from 1993 to 1994, where they led the design of a Roll Tracking System for a textile manufacturer. Megson then became a Consultant at MAPICS from 1994 to 1995, providing expertise in a SYNON development environment for an ERP system.

From 1995 to 1999, Megson worked as the Director and Chief Architect at Kurt Salmon Associates, where they managed a team and designed and developed custom versions of the DCMS\uf0d2 product for Fortune 500 clients. In 2013, Megson joined Chico's FAS, Inc. as the Senior Director of Applications, where they drove successful omni-channel initiatives and managed major upgrades to SAP ECC, SAP BI, and Manhattan WMi. Gary also held the role of Director of Applications from 2013 to 2015. Megson then worked at PwC as part of the Advisory - Technology Consulting team from February to July 2013.

Currently, Megson is the Chief Technology Officer at Hot Topic, a position they have held since January 2021.
