Brett Korp

Brett Korp has worked in the technology industry for over 8 years. Brett began their career in 2011 as Lead Technician at Magenta Computer Center, where they built and assembled custom computer systems and developed a custom software application. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Web Developer at Excelerate Software, Inc., where they rapidly developed websites and migrated the company's website infrastructure to a cloud-hosting platform. In 2014, they took on the role of System Administrator at Elite Home Energy, where they built and configured a predictive dialer system and provided continuous up-time for mission-critical Windows and Linux server systems. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at L.U. Electric, Inc., first as Director of IT and then as a Software Developer. As Director of IT, they managed the company network infrastructure and directed various projects. As a Software Developer, they developed single page web applications using Node, Express, Angular, and MySQL. Most recently, they have been working as a DevOps Manager and DevOps Engineer at HOTB Software since 2019. In this role, they have built highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS for SASS products, as well as built the software, internal development processes, and automation tools that enable stable and frequent releases to that infrastructure.

Brett Korp attended Saddleback College from an unknown start date to 2017, where they earned an Associate of Science in Computer Science. Brett then attended the University of California, Riverside from 2017 to 2020, earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with Business Applications.
