Ginger Barnes has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Ginger started their career as an Operations Specialist in the US Navy from 2007 to 2011. Following that, they worked as a Counselor in the Navy Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Program from 2011 to 2014. Ginger then served as the Director of the Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Program on the USS Carl Vinson from 2014 to 2016. In 2016, they worked as a Family Intervention Specialist at Youth Villages and later became a Therapist at Hamilton Center, Inc. from 2016 to 2017. Ginger then transitioned to working as an Addictions Therapist at The Willow Center from 2017 to 2018. Currently, Ginger holds the position of Director of Production & Compliance at Hotel Tango Artisan Distillery starting from October 2018.
Ginger Barnes obtained their B.A. in Communication and Culture as well as a second B.A. in International Studies from Indiana University Bloomington during the period of 2002 to 2006. Later, they pursued their Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from San Diego State University from 2010 to 2014. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Substance Abuse Professional from the Department of Transportation in December 2015. Ginger also has a certification as a CADAC II from IC&RC, although the exact month and year of obtaining this certification is not available.
