Jay Goel

Jay Goel is currently the co-founder and CEO of Hotswap. Prior to Hotswap, Jay served as a Senior Engineering Manager at Frame.io from July 2020 to May 2021. In this role, they led the Integrations squad responsible for the Frame.io Transfer App, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe Final Cut integrations. From February 2018 to July 2020, Jay worked as an Engineering Manager at Squarespace, where they led the Checkout and Payments team. Jay was responsible for the Squarespace checkout flow, pricing pages, and A/B tests. Jay also integrated new payment processors and products into the checkout process. Prior to Squarespace, Jay served as an Engineering Manager at Rent the Runway from July 2014 to February 2018. In this role, they were responsible for the execution of several major initiatives at Rent the Runway. Jay partnered with stakeholders to determine roadmap for achieving business goals, and performed day-to-day management activities. Jay has a proven track record of successful project management, team leadership, and delivering results.

Jay Goel attended Y Combinator for their computer science education, North Carolina State University for their English and business administration minors, and The Juilliard School for their evening division certificate in core skills. Jay also attended North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics and Enloe.
