Matthew Holmen

Matthew Holmen has extensive work experience in software development and application design. Matthew is currently employed as a Senior Software Developer at Hott Solutions Corp, starting in April 2020. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at OFMS, Inc. dba INSITE from December 2019 to March 2020. From 2013 to 2019, they were a Developer at Syllogistic Management Solutions LLC, where they partnered with clients to retrieve data through custom reports and .net applications, as well as built SharePoint web parts. In 2012, they joined Vivantio as an Application Developer, where they developed features and customization for the company's service desk software. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Application Developer at the City of Greensboro from 2004 to 2012, collaborating with various departments to design and maintain web applications for the city. Matthew also had a role as a Senior Application Developer (Contract) at Deutsch Consulting, Inc. in 2011, helping to build interactive websites for clients. In 2003, they founded Holmen Technology Inc, where they served as CEO/President and handled web application design, project management, sales, and other business aspects. Before that, they worked as an Application Developer/Project Manager at BRIDGELINE Software Inc in 2001 and as an Application Developer at Mindseye Technology Inc in the same year. Finally, they started their career as a Senior Developer at marchFIRST in 1999.

Matthew Holmen obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A) with a focus on Management Information Systems from Northeastern University. Matthew attended Northeastern University from 1996 to 2001. Prior to their time at Northeastern University, Matthew briefly attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1995. Matthew did not complete a degree or field of study at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

In terms of additional certifications, Matthew Holmen received an ESET Cyber Security Awareness Training Certificate from ESET North America in January 2021.
