Arun Pillai

Arun Pillai has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Arun began their career in 1994 as an Assistant Manager for Structural Design at Mazagon Dock Ltd. Arun then worked as an Assistant Surveyor at Indian Register of Shipping from 1998 to 2000. Arun then joined NIIT Limited as an Associate Consultant from 2001 to 2002 before moving on to Lloyd's Register R&D as a Project Specialist from 2002 to 2006. Arun then worked as a Senior Engineer at Technip from 2006 to 2009 and as a Consultant Team Lead at Fugro from 2009 to 2011. Arun then joined Premier Oil, GLND as an Asset Integrity Management/Technical Authority from 2011 to 2014. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Consultant and Director at EBHA Engineering, PMP, MBA. Arun'scurrent position is Project Director at Houlder Limited, starting from October 2017.

Arun Pillai holds a Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture from Cochin University of Science and Technology, which they obtained from 1989 to 1994. Arun then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Marine Technology from the University of Strathclyde from 2001 to 2002. Furthermore, they completed an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Aberdeen Business School, Robert Gordon University, between 2015 and 2018. Arun has additional certifications as a Chartered Engineer from the Engineering Council and as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute.
