Chris Palliser

Chris Palliser has extensive work experience in the marine engineering industry. Chris currently holds the position of Principal Marine Engineer at Houlder Limited since 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Mechanical Design at Canark Marine Ltd from 2021 to 2022. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as the Project Engineering Manager at BAE Systems. Chris also has experience as a Director at Critical Mass Engineering Ltd from 2012 to 2020. Chris has held various roles at Houlder Limited, including Marine Engineer from 2019 to 2020. Chris was the Head of Mechanical Engineering at Canark Marine from 2015 to 2018. Additionally, they worked as an Account Manager at Solid Solutions Management from 2009 to 2012. Earlier in their career, they served as a Senior Mechanical Designer at VT Shipbuilding Ltd. and a Senior Engineer at Deep Sea Seals Ltd. Chris started their career in the Royal Navy as a Petty Officer Marine Engineering Artificer from 1989 to 1994.

Chris Palliser attended the HMS Sultan Royal Naval School of Marine Engineering from 1989 to 1992, where they studied Marine Engineering. Following this, from 1994 to 1997, they pursued Mechanical Engineering at the University of Portsmouth.
