Josh Holmes

Josh Holmes has extensive work experience in the technology and cybersecurity industry. Josh currently serves as the National Technology & Cybersecurity Practice Lead | Transaction Advisory Services at Houlihan Lokey since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at KPMG US as an M&A Technology Due Diligence Director from February 2019 to October 2021. From January 2014 to February 2019, Josh was a Principal Consultant - Security & Infrastructure at West Monroe Partners. Josh also has experience as an Independent IT Consultant/Contractor, starting in July 2007 and continuing until February 2019.

Josh Holmes earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Purdue University. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including the HealthCare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HCISPP) from (ISC)² in 2018, the AWS SysOps Administrator Associate from Amazon Web Services in 2016, and the Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional from (ISC)² in 2016. Josh also holds certifications such as PCI Professional from the PCI Security Standards Council, Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) from GIAC, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services, GIAC Network Forensic Analyst (GNFA) from GIAC, GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) from the SANS Institute, Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) from Red Hat, and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching from Cisco, all obtained between 2014 and 2016.
