Alex Cullen

Alex Cullen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2012, they worked at Northern Trust as a Credit Portfolio Manager before joining Avant in 2013. At Avant, Alex held multiple roles within the Strategy department and was promoted six times during their tenure. In 2016, they worked as a Real Estate Broker at Hometown Real Estate, where they gained experience in various real estate activities. From 2017 to 2018, Alex served as the COO at Kin Insurance. Alex then joined SMS Assist, L.L.C. in 2019, initially as the Director of Business Innovation and later as a Senior Director until 2021. In 2019, they also became a Mentor at Food Foundry, a growth accelerator program for food industry startups. Currently, Alex works as the Senior Director of Operations at Housecall Pro.

Alex Cullen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Management, and Entrepreneurship from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business from 2004 to 2009. They also attended Downers Grove North High School from 2000 to 2004. In terms of additional certifications, Alex obtained a variety of licenses including Insurance Producer from different state departments and a Licensed Real Estate Broker from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in 2016. They also pursued training in improvisation at Black Box Acting and The Second City in 2019. Additionally, they obtained certifications in self-awareness, authenticity, leadership, and servant leadership from LinkedIn in 2018.
