Mikael Immonen

Mikael Immonen is a highly skilled Senior Environment Artist at Housemarque since February 2020, contributing to projects such as Returnal and Returnal: Ascension. As a Co-Founder of Srsface Studios since March 2021, Mikael leverages expertise gained as a 3D Artist & Designer at HeyDay Pro from December 2015 to January 2020, where responsibilities included designing and implementing real-time 3D applications as well as creating high-quality art and animations for gamification. Previous experience includes roles as a Game Artist at Fragment Production Ltd, where Mikael specialized in 3D asset creation, animations, and level design for PC real-time strategy games. Mikael holds a Master of Arts in Game Design & Production from Aalto University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Tampere, complemented by an exchange year at Université de Montréal.
