Carol Austin

Carol Austin serves as the Chair of Housing Australia since June 2023 and has held the position of Director at Infoxchange since July 2021, as well as at StateSuper and Grattan Institute since 2017 and April 2016, respectively. Carol is a member of the Investment Advisory Committee for the General Sir John Monash Foundation since December 2015 and was the Chairman of the Investment Advisory Board for the ACT Government from October 2017 to October 2023. Previously, Carol was the Director and Chairman of the Board Risk Committee at HSBC Bank Australia from January 2010 to January 2022, a Commissioner at the Independent Planning Commission from August 2017 to August 2020, and a member of the Advisory Board for AOFM from 2013 to December 2016. Carol also served as Chairman of the Audit & Risk Committee and Guardian at the Future Fund from April 2011 to April 2016. Carol holds a Bachelor of Economics with Honours from The Australian National University and a Bachelor of Science in Pure Mathematics and Statistics from Monash University.
