James Maynard-Cabrera

James Maynard-Cabrera is an experienced Human Resources professional with a strong background in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Human Resources at the Housing Authority of Monterey County since August 2022, James has held similar positions including Director of Human Resources at Gateway Center of Monterey County Inc and Interim Director of Human Resources at Housing Authority of Monterey County. Previous experience includes directing human resources at Del Monte Assisted Living & Memory Care and managing operations as Store Manager at Famous Footwear. James began a career in human resources with a significant tenure at Target as a Senior Human Resources Leader. James holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies with a focus in Human Resource Management from Southern New Hampshire University.
