Lynda Schueler

Lynda Schueler is a seasoned leader in the nonprofit sector with extensive experience in addressing homelessness and housing stability. Since November 1998, Lynda has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Housing Forward, focusing on transitioning individuals from housing crises to stability through coordinated services. Lynda's leadership includes roles as the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of the Oak Park Homeless Coalition and participation as a founding member of the Executive Service Corps. Additionally, Lynda has contributed to Housing Action Illinois as a member, served on the Forbes Nonprofit Council, and participated as a board member of the Alliance to End Homelessness in Suburban Cook County. Lynda's early career included various managerial positions at West Suburban PADS and DuPage PADS. Lynda holds a Master's degree in Public Administration with a focus on Human Service Administration from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Illinois State University.
