Paige Gentry is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in real estate, affordable housing, and community economic development. Currently serving as Deputy General Counsel at the Housing Opportunities Commission since December 2021, Gentry provides legal analysis and guidance on complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, leasing, and compliance with HUD. Gentry is also a Lecturer at Duke University School of Law since January 2018, co-developing a course on communication, management, and leadership skills for law students. Previous roles include Senior Associate at Klein Hornig LLP, where Gentry represented developers in affordable housing projects, and Associate at Nixon Peabody LLP, focusing on tax credit finance and syndication for various projects. Gentry’s career began with research and program development roles at the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City and Willamette Neighborhood Housing Services. Gentry earned a Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law and a BA in Political Science and Public Policy from Swarthmore College.
