Giorgos Polychronopoulos

Giorgos Polychronopoulos has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Giorgos has recently joined HousingAnywhere as a Market Manager for Greece, Hungary, Czech Republic, and Slovenia. Prior to that, they worked as an Account Manager at Booking.com for a few months in 2021.

In 2020, Giorgos was a Contract Manager at Secret Escapes, where they were responsible for business development and negotiating discounts with hotels and DMCs in Greece. Giorgos also managed the contracting process and analyzed the regional hotel marketplace for new opportunities.

Before joining Secret Escapes, they worked as a Hotel Contract Manager at TUI and as a Senior Yield Manager at Hotelbeds, where they focused on contract management and yield optimization for the Nordic Countries.

In their earlier roles at Expedia, Inc. and Expedia Group, Giorgos had responsibilities related to content and hotel on-boarding, lodging partner management, and travel and relocation services for internal clients.

Giorgos'sprofessional journey began as an HR/Recruiter Assistant at Marriott International in 2015.

Giorgos Polychronopoulos pursued their education in a diverse range of fields. In 2006 to 2009, they attended the High School of Vouliagmeni-Athens, where they obtained their high school degree. Following that, from 2008 to 2013, they attended Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Political Sciences and Public Policy.

In 2008 to 2010, Giorgos Polychronopoulos also enrolled in the Drama School of IASMOS and earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Acting. Later, from 2014 to 2015, they attended the Strathclyde Business School, where they completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Human Resource Management and Business Development.

Additionally, Giorgos Polychronopoulos obtained several certifications to enhance their language skills. In 2004, they earned a Certificate of English Language from Michigan State University. In 2005, they obtained a Diplome d'etudes en langue Francaise (DELF) from IFA Paris. In 2014, they also achieved an IELTS-International English Language Testing System certification from IELTS USA.
