Richard H. Rogers

Richard H. Rogers, Ed.D. is an experienced educator currently serving as an Associate Instructor and Adjunct Professor at Piedmont University since May 2020, where responsibilities include teaching advanced education and research courses. With a long-standing career at the Houston County Board of Education, Richard has held various leadership roles, including Deputy Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent for School Operations, since August 2004. Additional teaching positions include adjunct faculty roles at Columbus State University and American College of Education, focusing on doctoral-level courses in leadership and administration. Richard holds multiple degrees in education, culminating with a Doctor of Education in K-12 Executive Leadership from Valdosta State University, and has participated in numerous professional development programs through the Georgia School Superintendents Association.
