Demi Hoang

Demi Hoang has over 20 years of experience in the convention center industry. Demi began their career in 1996 as a Senior Sales Manager at the George R. Brown Convention Center. In this role, they were responsible for sales and marketing activities.

In 2011, Demi joined Houston First Corporation as a Sr. Financial Analyst. During their time in this position, they provided financial analysis and reporting to support business operations.

Later, Demi was promoted to Director of Revenue & Control at Houston First Corporation in September 2013. In this role, they directed the sales team and was responsible for optimizing rental revenues, setting convention center rates, and assessing new business opportunities. Demi also generated reports, managed budgets, and liaised with software consultants and IT administrators.

Throughout their career, Demi demonstrated strong leadership and analytical skills, contributing to the success of the companies they worked for.

Demi Hoang received a Hotel Revenue Management Certificate from Cornell University in 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management from the University of Houston - Hilton University, between 1992 and 1996.
