Courtney Smith, M.Ed., has over two decades of dedicated experience in education, primarily within Houston Independent School District (HISD) since 2002. Current roles include Senior Manager for Project Explore, where Courtney collaborates with school leaders to develop campus plans that enhance student readiness for secondary and post-secondary opportunities. Previous positions include Senior Guidance & Counseling Program Specialist, where training and compliance with regulations were prioritized, and roles as a High School Graduation Coach and Academic Advisor, focusing on supporting at-risk students and ensuring academic success. An educational background includes a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University-Portland and a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Technology from the University of Houston.
