Jason Yang is a Senior Data Scientist at Houston Methodist, specializing in the development of advanced AI models for medical imaging and diagnostics, including pixel2pixel GAN models and noise reduction techniques for PET imaging. Prior experience includes roles as a Data Scientist and Research Assistant, where Jason contributed to innovative research in drug delivery, sensor design, and chemical engineering processes. Educated with a Ph.D. in Chemistry and a Master’s in Chemical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and the University of Houston, Jason has published six papers, secured one patent, and presented at national conferences, reflecting a strong focus on interdisciplinary collaboration and technological advancements in healthcare and engineering.
